When a person has a run like Drake has had, unmitigated success on top, people grow restless. With that, they begin looking for ways to tear down the ones on top. In the NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers went through this, when the Toronto Raptors took the number one spot.
Since 2016, Nicki Minaj has faced public opposition, with fans openly pushing for Remy Ma and Cardi B, just to dethrone her. Now, Drake is experiencing the same backlash. Recently, Sophia Body spoke out, accusing Drake of stealing flows.
Drake not only hit back, via his IG Story, where he tagged her, making fun of her, he also went into her DMs. This wasn’t the typical rapper coming for the hot chicks, though. Instead, it was Drake calling her a “f*cking weirdo” for accusing him of biting and she still exposed him.
