A year ago, Cardi B dropped “Bodak Yellow” and most people weren’t aware of how the game was going to change. From that moment on, she was the biggest rapper in the game. Many people tried to write her off as a one hit wonder, but Cardi B makes hits.
Cardi B followed up with several scene-stealing guest appearances, followed by “Bartier Cardi,” which became another hit. When the spring of 2018 hit, she dropped “Be Careful,” which has been in rotation ever since. The summer is here and now she has “I Like It” out.
This single, “I Like It,” Cardi B shares with Bad Bunny and J Balvin. The record has slowly been growing and now it has gained momentum. At the start of next week, “I Like It” is projected to top Billboard Hot 100, which will be Cardi B’s second single to accomplish this feat.
