Tonight, the Golden State Warriors took all the misery out of the game, and the series. Finishing what they started, the Warriors wanted to fly back to Oakland with no unfinished business. From start to finish, the team went in on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While LeBron James gave it his all, he was going against a super-team, and this wasn’t 2016. Facing Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green is tough. The Warriors are the NBA’s best team until somebody changes that.
Twitter had “Poor LeBron” trending, but after LeBron James walked off the court, they started going in on him. This is the second straight time he’s lost the title to the Warriors and second time he got swept, in the NBA Finals, so it’s understandable that he would walk off. While Twitter was going in on him, remember, he DID dap up the Warriors before he took the bench, so it’s not like he snubbed them.
