Early this morning, people on social media started talking about a popular hip hop couple getting arrested. This couple was one of 2018’s first new couples, YFN Lucci and Reginae Carter. The Atlanta rapper had a show in Knoxville and he brought Reginae with him.

YFN Lucci is one of the game’s most-promising rappers. The past two summers, he’s had some big hits. With “Everyday We Lit,” he had one of 2017’s biggest anthems, but he’s looking to build on that momentum with an even bigger hit.

Last night, it looked like YFN Lucci and Reginae Carter got arrested. It all went down in Knoxville, Tennessee, but the video wasn’t quite what it seemed. Lucci got arrested, but Reginae spoke out, letting the people know she didn’t, meanwhile the police were reportedly tipped off about Lucci having drugs, after he realized the promoters paid him using counterfeit cash.
