The #MeToo movement has called out numerous men, in the entertainment industry. Recently, R. Kelly has become one of the latest targets. As many remembers, Kells got into a lot of hot water, in the early 2000s, due to allegations of him with underage girls.
R. Kelly managed to rebound, continuing to drop hit records, throughout the drama. Reinventing himself, R. Kelly continued to dominate the mid and late 2000s. But, the 2010s have seen him fade from the spotlight, and now the #MeToo movement has focused in on him.
In North Carolina, R. Kelly does have some supporters though. He did have a concert, here in NC, and there were women there for him. The ladies went directly at #MuteRKelly, coming back with #TurnRKellyUp, which they wore on their shirts.
