So much is said about hip hop’s moguls, and all of them deserve their props. The guys like Jay-Z, Diddy, Dr. Dre, and Master P broke down doors and did things their own way. Equally important is Steve Stoute, and those like him.
Steve Stoute, for the most part, is a behind the scenes guy. His claim to notoriety is his history managing Nas, who has shouted him out on many records. But, Steve Stoute is a businessman, not an entertainer, so he didn’t show up in many music videos, if any.
Recently, Steve Stoute stopped by Hot 97, talking to Ebro and Laura Stylez. They had a conversation about the culture, which is in another state of crisis. He was going in on Spotify for removing R. Kelly and XXXTentacion’s music from their playlists.
