In 2006, Ludacris reinvented himself, introducing people to more of the real him, Chris Bridges. This included cutting his trademark braids and changing his style of music. He released a very deep song, which was called “Runaway Love,” featuring Mary J. Blige.
A decade before the #MeToo movement, Ludacris spoke on how women are often mistreated, starting at a young age. Towards the end of the song, Ludacris said “sometimes, I feel like running away, myself,” a line that’s hard to believe. It seems like the rich don’t have problems.
Years later, Ludacris found love with Eudoxie, and their love, all their fortune, and fame couldn’t protect them. Ultimately, the two were expecting a child that they ended up losing. Until yesterday, they were quiet about this, until Eudoxie shared the heartbreaking story, but still urged people to keep their faith.
