Already, Michael B. Jordan was a major force in the industry. But, the success of Black Panther has put him on the level of the legends. He even got the official blessing of Denzel Washington, who says he’s passing the torch to him.
Michael B. Jordan played Killmonger, the antagonist, and rival to the titular character, portrayed by Chadwick Boseman. The movie, although a superhero movie, has become an inspirational film. Many see this as a film about Black Excellence, as Wakanda is black-majority population.
During a recent interview, Michael B. Jordan sat down with a reporter who was not familiar with the movie. After Jordan asked if she saw the movie, she said yes. But, when he did the Wakanda sign, she was confused, and he shut her down saying “you ain’t from Wakanda.”
