Yesterday, “Get Paid” started trending on Twitter and the hip hop world thought Young Dolph took over the app. It turns out, he did, without even knowing he did. Back in 2016, Young Dolph made a hit record, and the people flocked to it.

On the Duke University campus, some young ladies, working at a cafe, played the song. One of the university’s VPs stopped in so he could get some coffee. While he was there, he made sure all of the girls were fired, for playing the song too loudly.

The fans on Twitter immediately used “Get Paid” to take their shots at the VP. Young Dolph, himself, also spoke out, expressing his disappointment. He said all the VP is doing is being selfish and teaching selfishness.
