Honestly, Chris Paul is probably the best player in NBA history to not even play in the Conference Finals, let alone the NBA Finals. By comparison, Carmelo Anthony led the Nuggets to the 2009 Conference Finals. But, Chris Paul seems to invent ways to not get there.
Early in his career, Chris Paul had an MVP-quality season and he led the Hornets (Pelicans) to a franchise record for wins. It looked like he was going to led his team to a win over the Spurs. But, San Antonio got that one.
Once Chris Paul got to the Clippers, he suffered another second round loss to the Spurs, and his Clippers blew one against the Thunder. The worst of all was 2015, against the Rockets he plays for now. After he stepped up for James Harden, tonight, CP3 talked to TNT and the question was asked and Chris was frank about things.
