This season was the first time the New Orleans Pelicans made the playoffs, in three years. Seeing how they dominated the Blazers, in the first round, and the Warriors in Game 3, the casual fan would’ve never guessed. This Pelicans’ team is special, with their united core.
The New Orleans Pelicans finally surrounded Anthony Davis with a solid group of guys. Even with DeMarcus Cousins injured, New Orleans has Jrue Holiday finally playing up to his potential. But, Rajon Rondo is the real X factor for the team.
Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday talked to the press, following their dominating win over the Warriors. Asked about 2015, AD said he honestly hadn’t thought about it, but definitely credited the home crowd for the Pelicans’ strong shooting. The two were very upbeat, given the ease of their win.
