Closing the week out, Nicki Minaj decided she would shut things down, once again. Today became #NickiDay2 and successfully shifted the attention back to her. Finally, she has the official “Chun-Li” music video out, and dropped the “Barbie Tingz” visual.
Nicki Minaj has waited four years in between album releases. By 2016, fans were asking Nicki what was up with the music, and she said she was taking time off to rediscover herself. Last year, Nicki Minaj came hard with the music, but disappeared in 2018.
Last month, Nicki Minaj returned and it’s been as if she never left, in the first place. The radio has taken a liking to “Chun-Li” and it has charted high on Billboard. With her new videos out, one fan asked her when the album was coming, and Nicki told him “you’ll know in a week.”
