There was a time when Bow Wow was taken very seriously in the game and there will be a time when he is again. A lot of his antics have overshadowed the legacy Bow Wow built before turning 18. The credibility Kanye West had, though, is shot.
Kanye West, too, was highly respected, as he made intellectual rap cool and he always had hot takes on various topics. But, his continuing erratic behavior turned many off. Then, his 2016 comments really set people off, and yesterday sealed his fate.
One fan questioned how it would be if Bow Wow was in this position. A big reason why it wasn’t worse on Kanye is because people HAD more respect for him, but after this he’s done. Still, Bow Wow was spot on, when he replied to the fan, telling them he’d be “dead by now.”
