Dwyane Wade talks Heat/Sixers series, calls Philly “the better team” and “the future of the NBA,” talks potential retirement, Justin Anderson, and more #HeatCulture

Because of physical size and prowess, Ben Simmons is often compared to LeBron James. That fits, but career-wise, he is actually following Dwyane Wade’s journey. Early in his career, Dwyane Wade led the Miami Heat to the second round.

Tonight, Ben Simmons led the Philadelphia 76ers to, at least, the second round. In doing that, he brought about an end to D-Wade’s season. Some people believe it might be his career, as he’s fifteen years in, and played for three teams, this season.

Dwyane Wade finished the second straight year losing in the first round of the playoffs. Last year, he played with Chicago, choosing to leave his longtime home in Miami, and then signed with Cleveland. Back in Miami, he lost with the Heat to Philly, and he gave the Sixers props for being the better team, the future, and also dismissed the retirement question.
