Twice, in the past five years, Meek Mill has been forced to spend months in jail, in the middle of his career. Without those stints behind bars, Meek Mill would arguably be a bigger artist. There is a chance the whole Drake beef never happens.
But, Meek Mill, through it all, has had Jay-Z and Beyonce in his corner. After all, he is a part of Roc Nation. Last year, Meek Mill dropped his long-awaited third album to much success. Having to report back to jail led to Meek Mill having to halt album promotion.
However, this afternoon, Meek Mill became a free man. All over Twitter, fans have been celebrating ever since. A video has surfaced of Meek talking with his friends, fans, and the press, with everyone excited to see him, and he’s gained a little weight, too.
