Coming into 2018, Drake has reminded the people of who he is. After he took a year off, people began to assume he fell off. Not the case, at all, as Drake is now the hottest rapper in the game, picking up where he left off, late in 2016.
Drake jumped on BlocBoy JB’s “Look Alive” and bragged about the time he took off, from the game. Following this, Drake dropped “God’s Plan” and it dominated the charts, until “Nice For What” dropped. The rapper still finds time to chill courtside, with his Toronto Raptors.
Not only that, but Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino had an entire episode of his show, “Atlanta,” dedicated to Drizzy. In the episode, Van (Zazie Beetz) hangs with her friends, who wanted to be in a Drake video. When the episode ends, they get kicked out, leaving with Darius (LaKeith Stanfield), and the episode ends with Van declaring “Drake’s Mexican,” and Drake reacted after seeing it for the first time.
