In 2013, right when the “New Atlanta” stars were establishing themselves, a new era emerged. There were Migos, Rich Homie Quan, and Young Thug all picking up steam. Also among them was another rapper, PeeWee Longway.
All of these artists had one person in common in Gucci Mane, and three of those four acts were 1017. However, Gucci Mane went to prison, in 2013, freeing the artists from their contract. Since then, Young Thug and Migos have become two of the game’s biggest acts.
PeeWee Longway has also been making moves, as of late. After dropping a very big music video, PeeWee Longway stopped by Shade 45 and talked to Sway. Denouncing lean, PeeWee Longway said it kills and also that Gucci Mane invented trap music.
