Currently, Nicki Minaj has all of the focus, as her Barbz promised she would. Before going on her hiatus, Nicki Minaj faced a strong comeback year, in 2017. Despite her strong comeback, Nicki Minaj had a rough year.

Early on, Remy Ma began taking shots at her, and she already had momentum, from the previous year. With fans eager for a female rapper to replace her, vicious rumors about Nicki emerged. Soon, Cardi B emerged as the hottest rapper, and Nicki co-signed her early on.
