In the middle of this Cardi B hype, fans were expecting Nicki Minaj to return with some new music. The last music she had out was Migos’ single, “Motorsport,” featuring Cardi B. This was a part of Cardi B’s rise to the top, as she dropped her debut album, last week.
Nicki Minaj was originally slated to drop her album, last year. For whatever reason, Nicki Minaj delayed the album, but she did drop some big singles, with Drake and Lil Wayne. Along with that, Nicki Minaj did a ton of dope features.
Earlier this afternoon, Nicki Minaj announced two new singles that she has in the works. Nicki Minaj announced “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun Li,” which are coming this week. These singles will drop on Thursday at 1 pm EST.
