Last week, Tyrone began trending on Twitter, and Black Twitter jokingly said they knew it had to be no good. When people followed the story, they found a man accused of abusing the Howard University financial aid system. The man was accused of scamming $429,000.
Tyrone Hankerson, Jr. was the man at the center of this controversy. He was accused of taking the money and using it to buy expensive clothes and cars. This led to even more jokes on Twitter about him not even spending the money wisely.
But, Tyrone Hankerson, Jr. is going on a press run to clear his name. A lot is being said about Tyrone, but he is also saying a lot, number one of all is that he isn’t guilty. On top of that, he is now suing Howard University for $10 million, for making these accusations about him.
