Two years ago, Desiigner began a slow climb to the top. Despite being from NYC, Desiigner sounded a lot like Future. His single, “Panda,” became one of 2016’s first hits and it landed him a deal with Kanye’s label, G.O.O.D. Music, and a co-sign from Jay-Z.
Desiigner had a lot of pressure on him and fans demanded a second hit from him. Unfortunately, Desiigner wasn’t able to top the success of his first single. His album also succeeded, because of his single, and he’s been working on his second album, since then.
Recently, Desiigner stopped by Power 106, in LA, where he would speak with DJ Felli Fel. The popular rapper talked about his “Panda” lifestyle, including him buying one for $200. He would also discuss his Life of Desiigner album, touring with Steve Aoki, and much more.
