Over the years, Trey Songz has found himself accused of all kinds of situations. For whatever reason, rumors stick to Trey Songz, but he is always proven innocent. Still, when rumors of him punching a woman in the face emerged, they made for big headlines.
Trey Songz never directly addressed the rumors, even as his alleged accuser spoke out. Instead, Trey Songz only made a couple of subliminal posts. Mostly, he focused on promoting his own work, and continuing to push his career.
Finally having enough of the rumors, Trey Songz has directly spoken out for the first time. Here, Trey Songz has explained that his legal team advised him to keep quiet. But, with so much being thrown at him, he decided to speak out, via Twitter, saying he’s being “lied on and falsely accused for someone’s personal gain.”
