Consistency has been key in the resurgence of Remy Ma, as she didn’t hit the ground running, when she returned. Instead, Remy Ma dropped a few tracks, here and there. Then, in 2015, she joined the “Love & Hip Hop” cast, and then “All The Way Up” came in 2016.

Remy Ma had built-in promo, in 2017, when she and Nicki Minaj began beefing. But, even before that, her marriage to Papoose landed them both on daytime TV. As her album is on the way, Remy Ma now has a primetime acting role.

Along with doing “Love & Hip Hop,” Remy Ma is officially an actress, and has two primetime nights. The USA Network drama, “Queen of the South” has cast Remy Ma. She will be playing the role of Vee, a member of Devon Finch’s (Jamie Hector) security detail.
