In the late 1990s, Mya debuted, and she brought a different kind of energy to the game. She came out and delivered a big hit very early on, which helped lay the groundwork. Her 1999 single, “Case of the Ex,” was big, but “Like Whoa,” became her biggest hit.
Despite Mya reaching career highs, in 2003, she would soon find herself no longer able to make hits. This came with Mya making some dope music. On top of having a catchy single, she had the Lil Wayne feature, when he was owning the game.
Mya recently stopped by Hot 97, where she talked to Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. During the interview, Mya talked about how she has been sculpting her body and her dating history, in the industry. Before she left, Mya also announced she has a new album coming soon.
