Diddy describes Craig Mack as a “sweet, kind, caring” person, and talks about his importance as the first artist released by his Bad Boy label #RIPCraigMack [VIDEO]

This morning, Diddy woke up to the same bad news that the entire hip hop world woke up to. Just as the world was beginning to appreciate what Craig Mack contributed to the game, he died. In their latest commercial, Ford is using “Flava In Ya Ear,” his classic 1994 debut.

Along with his debut album, “Flava In Ya Ear” was the first release from the Bad Boy label. While Craig Mack was the first artist to debut from the label, The Notorious B.I.G. was the flagship artist. It didn’t take long for Biggie to steal the spotlight.

As everyone knows, The Notorious B.I.G. passed away in 1997. But, the death of Craig Mack took place this morning, as he died from heart failure. Going on Instagram, Diddy spoke on Craig Mack, and gave him props for being a good person, and credited him for helping Bad Boy morph into what it’s become.
