Last year, Rihanna was fresh off a strong comeback run. Her first album in four years ended up being a tremendous success. The record put her back on top of the Billboard singles and album charts, and she scored a huge, $25 million, deal with Samsung.
Following this, Rihanna went into the cosmetics business. A lot of people warned of how saturated the cosmetics industry was, but this didn’t stop Rihanna from jumping in. Ultimately, in one calendar year, she broke records for the company’s sales.
Rihanna enjoyed tremendous success, in 2016 with her album, and in 2017 with FENTY Beauty. Because of this, there is a lot of added pressure on her, for 2018, or she may have goals. But, rumor has it, that she’s launching a lingerie line, in 2018, which could continue her run.
