While Paul Anka made a big impact, during the 1970s, Drake has been the top Canadian artist, in recent years. When it comes to all-time artists, Drake is the most-successful Canadian artist internationally. All of the veterans are immensely proud of Drake and what he’s done.
Drake took most of the year of 2017 off, but he wasted no time getting back to it, in 2018. First, he gave BlocBoy JB a lift, and he has a top five single. His biggest success came with “God’s Plan,” which is said to be the biggest rap hit in 25 years.
In between time, Drake ran into one of Canada’s biggest music stars, not named him. Backstage, he and Paul Anka linked up, and took this photo. Posting it on Instagram, Paul Anka said he and Drake are working together.
