During the fall of 2016, Michel’le partnered with Lifetime to tell her part of the story. Along with many fans, Michel’le called out Straight Outta Compton for not even mentioning her. To tell her side of the story, she did her own movie, Surviving Compton.

Rhyon Nicole Brown was cast to play Michel’le and she knocked it out of the park. Since then, Brown has had a role in “Tales,” along with many other films. Now, she has been cast to have another role, likely the biggest of her career, so far.

Every year, “Empire” returns for their spring season, and they always add new cast members. This year, Rhyon Nicole Brown is being brought on as the child of one of Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) friends from prison, who was stolen at birth, and adopted into a wealthy family. “Empire” returns in three weeks.
