Out of all the Xscape members, Tiny and Kandi have always been the closest ones. They are the two who rose to reality TV fame, during the 2009-2010 period. The two ladies have built TV empires, with Tiny making moves at VH1, and Kandi’s home being Bravo.
Last year, Kandi and Xscape did a Bravo series, which was met with lukewarm responses. Despite doing the show, and the tour, Kandi declined to truly reunite with the group. This has caused Xscape to change their name, in order to promote new music.
Earlier today, Xscape was promoting themselves as Xscap3, which caught some fans off guard. These days, fans are direct, and they asked Tiny what the name change was about. Answering this, Tiny said that Kandi has declined to do new songs with them, or promote new music, so to keep the group going, Xscap3 is their new name.
