Rightfully so, Taraji P. Henson has inspired a lot of people, over the past few years. For so long, she was put in a certain category, so people felt she could never be a certain kind of star. Remaining true to herself, she played “Empire,” a certain kind of show, and became the biggest star.

Taraji P. Henson took her popularity and did Hidden Figures, a movie she also produced. It turns out, Taraji P. Henson was inspired by the story of Mary Jackson, the first Black NASA engineer. She played her in the Hidden Figures movie.

Since then, there has been a renewed interest in stories, such as these, that are inspiring. When people share positive stories, positive things happen in places, least expected. An elementary school in Utah has taken heed to these changes, renaming the school from Andrew Jackson to Mary Jackson.
