As much as people talk about unity, it’s so sad that so many rappers are victims of gun violence. If people would actually practice what they’d preach, there’d be no need to use a weapon on another man. But, that isn’t the world everyone is living in.
Instead, the real world includes a reality where Peezy is fighting for his life. The fortunate part is that he was able to survive long enough to make it to a hospital. Not everyone is afforded that opportunity, especially when being shot in the head.
On Sunday morning, Peezy was shot in the head, in Detroit. He was found, in the middle of the street, with a gunshot wound to his head, and rushed to the hospital, where he was listed as critical condition. A report from law enforcement says gunshots were heard, as a silver Yukon fled from the scene, making this an apparent drive-by.
