Two years ago, Fat Joe made an improbable comeback, and he made it clear he still had it. Bringing Remy Ma along with him, her momentum definitely helped put them back on top. Following that success, Fat Joe decided to do another album.
Fat Joe offered “So Excited,” featuring Dre, and it became a pretty big success. Because of this, Fat Joe decided to tap Dre for the whole album. The two recently released “Pick It Up,” which samples Tupac, and the video includes a PSA from Tiffany Haddish.
Recently, Fat Joe and Dre sat down with “The Breakfast Club,” speaking with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. In the interview, Fat Joe and Dre spoke on the Tupac sample. Fat Joe also talked about “She’s Gotta Have It,” the Kevin Hart movie he’s doing, hip hop history, moving to Miami, acting, and more.
