Mo’Nique speaks on Netflix, gender and racial equality, and possible reconciliation with Lee Daniels on #SwayInTheMorning [VIDEO]

Nearly two decades ago, Mo’Nique established herself as a force in the industry. She dominated the “Queens of Comedy” and “The Parkers” became her show. Once that ended, Mo’Nique went into hosting “Showtime at the Apollo” and went into several successful films.

However, in the era of Lee Daniels, Mo’Nique has claimed she finds herself black-balled. The only thing that can be confirmed is that she isn’t as popular as she once was. But, multiple things can be attributed for why that happened.

Mo’Nique recently spoke out against Netflix, leading to Sway having her sit down with him on “Sway In The Morning.” There, they talked about the gender and race quality issues. The topic of Lee Daniels also came up, as they discussed the possibility of reconciling.
