Ever since the whole Lil Wayne fallout, back in 2014, Birdman is always at the center of controversy. The following year, Lil Wayne reached out to Jay-Z to help him release music. Due to Birdman’s deal with TIDAL rival, Apple Music, he launched a suit against Jay-Z’s service.
Before this, Birdman was the closest thing to an “emperor of rap.” His label, Cash Money Records, was not only signing tons of artists, but they were also signing other labels. While Young Money was homegrown, DJ Khaled moved We The Best over.
Since Khaled’s departure, Cash Money Records has been toppling over, with artists leaving. Yesterday, Birdman was placed at the center of some surprising news. His “Stunna Island” Miami mansion already was controversial, seeing how it belonged to Scott Storch, and Birdman is being ordered to move out, immediately.
