Always one of social media’s most-outspoken figures, Lil Duval actually angered some fans, this week. He called BS on the promotion supposedly being run by Oprah. A fake tweet made to look like it was from Oprah was promising money in exchange for following an account.
It was the @OwnChristmas account and Lil Duval said the whole thing was a scam. A sum of $5,000 was being offered to the first 100,000 people to follow the account. Duval questioned how many people would fall for it.
Lil Duval was vindicated, as Oprah spoke out, this morning. She let fans know to ignore any promos promising money in exchange for following pages. As soon as he saw it, Lil Duval was the first one to retweet it.
