All year long, Nicki Minaj has found herself at the center of various controversies. The Queens rapper was called out by Remy Ma, making for the first defining story of the year. Their beef made headlines, but was only the prequel.

As Cardi B proved to be 2017’s breakout artist, her being a female led to people pitting her and Nicki Minaj against each other. According to what Cardi B hinted at, it might have worked. Despite friendly tweets and doing Migos’ “Motorsport” together, there may be tension.

However, Nicki Minaj continues promoting “Motorsport,” but her focus was on something else, tonight. Sharing the iTunes top ten, Nicki Minaj pointed out how many white rappers were on it, leading to major backlash. Several times, Nicki Minaj changed her captions, as the people kept coming at her.
