Definitely, music changed when Jay-Z drops an album, reinserts the hyphen in his name, and nobody even notices. The hype of Jay-Z’s album, 4:44, was strong, but nothing compared to Cardi B. That’s just how it is and Migos are emerging as the new leaders.
As Jeezy has said, this doesn’t mean Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole don’t have their place, but things have changed. Still, Jay-Z will forever be the icon that many rappers aspire to be like. With the 4:44 tour, Jay-Z is proving his position in the game.
Jay-Z’s 4:44 tour brought him to Seattle, last night, and he took a pause for the cause, as he often does. Since he was in Seattle, he decided to speak on Russell Wilson, the Seahawks’ star player. He shouted him out for Black Excellence and his wife, Ciara, shared the video on her Twitter.
