Six years ago, Young Jeezy delivered TM103, his long-awaited comeback album. His first album in three years, Jeezy was determined to come back with a big record. Delivering such hit records as “Lose My Mind,” “Ballin,” with Lil Wayne, “F.A.M.E.,” with T.I., Jeezy made impact.
However, Jeezy wanted to provide something for the streets, as well, with “I Do,” with Jay-Z and Andre 3000, dominating radio. At the same time, he offered “OJ,” featuring Fabolous and Jadakiss. The song was well-received and Fab and Jada stole the show.
Six years later, Fabolous and Jadakiss have dropped a joint album, meanwhile Jeezy is planning a new album. With all three of these rappers hot, right now, the Wednesday Throwback for them makes sense. Going back to the 2011-2012 period, “OJ” is this week’s Wednesday Throwback feature.
