Long before his foray into presidential politics, Donald Trump was known to the world as a savvy businessman. Immediately, the hip hop world latched onto Trump, celebrating his business acumen. But, the hip hop moguls, themselves, have built more than the president has.
Kandi Burruss has silently built an empire, staying out of the way, following the Xscape breakup. Since 2009, Kandi has been back in the spotlight, via “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Here, she has given the spotlight to many of her businesses.
Over the course of these past eight years, it’s become clear Kandi is about her business. When the topic came up of where to stay, Kandi told it like it was, saying Trump Tower is an option, seeing how empty it’s been. Even though it was a joke, fans demanded Kandi not to do business with the president’s company.
