The Charlotte Hornets could not have asked for a better opportunity than this. Tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers played a TERRIBLE game and deserved to lose. Leave it to Charlotte to play even worse and bail the Cavaliers out.
Tonight was a chance for Kemba Walker to show the NBA that they’ve been wrong about him. But, instead, Kemba Walker showed that he isn’t clutch in the big moments. Anyone who watched him, two seasons ago, knows that isn’t true.
Actually, it would have been easier for the Hornets to have won this game, given all the free throws, and game-winning shots, they had. In the end, they just gave it away. A lot of that credit is due to LeBron James, as Twitter is going on and on about how he shut Kemba down, down the stretch.
