Currently, CyHi The Prynce is riding the spotlight, due to the release of his debut album. Fans have waited for CyHi The Prynce to drop an album for years. In 2011, CyHi The Prynce stepped into the spotlight and began releasing his own tracks.
By 2014, it seemed as if CyHi The Prynce was ready to release his debut album. Unfortunately, CyHi The Prynce ended up being able to release his first official album. The release of this album coincided with the decision CyHi made to leave Def Jam.
CyHi The Prynce talked to Ebro, Laura Stylez, and Peter Rosenberg, over on Hot 97. Talking about his history with Kanye West, CyHi also explained his label situation, and the album. Before leaving, he also delivered some bars.
