Clearly, there is still plenty of tension, where Xscape is concerned. In the early 1990s, Xscape exploded onto the scene, at a time when R&B girl groups were all the rage. Xscape won out with “Just Kickin’ It,” making them household names.
However, by the late 1990s, some of the girls were trying to branch out as solo artists. This led to Kandi and Tiny penning “No Scrubs,” TLC’s classic 1999 single. These two later helped revitalize their careers, reaching new heights as reality stars.
Xscape, including Tamika and LaTocha Scott, sat down with E!, ahead of their BET Her performance. During their brief interview, the girls spoke on their reunion. As everyone knows, the reunion is all being documented on “Still Kickin’ It,” Xscape’s own reality series.
