Often, as it should be, there is a lot of talk about Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj as the rivals for the top overall spot with female rappers. What’s been overlooked is the position Eve played, in that battle. Although she left the game, abruptly, she was breaking many of Lil’ Kim’s records.
During her original run, Eve only dropped three albums, before starring in her self-titled UPN sitcom. Despite scoring a chart-topping single in “Tambourine,” Eve didn’t drop her comeback album. In 2013, she dropped an album that didn’t perform well.
Four years later, Eve is back in the public eye, but this time as a television personality. She has joined the panel of “The Talk,” where she is now co-host, becoming the fifth member. Today’s episode saw her make her debut.
