#TalesOnBET came through with a twist at the ending, as they flipped Slick Rick’s “Children’s Story,” and fans are questioning if it really happened

When it comes to classic hip hop, Slick Rick is at the top of the list with his “Children’s Story” track. The song is a cautionary tale, letting people know the choices they make matter. This is especially true, when people are growing up in the hood.

Given Irv Gotti’s concept for “Tales,” it made perfect sense for him to eventually do a “Children’s Story” episode. Everything came together to make for a gritty story. Centering around Ty (Bre-Z), she is convinced to rob a bank by her friend, and it all goes wrong.

Fans spent the entire “Tales” episode going in on Ty for being so stupid, for so many reasons. Not only was she stupid, according to fans, for missing the obvious, but the bigger obvious, to not do it at all. The ending made it clear she actually didn’t, so people are trying to figure out what they just watched.
