Nobody was expecting Kendrick Lamar to come back in 2017. Even when he announced a new album, few people were expecting the big records he came with. Successful rappers often kind of struggle between making huge records and respecting the craft.
Going outside of the box, Kendrick Lamar managed to do both with his newest album, DAMN., which is a modern classic. The album spawned the uber-successful single, “Humble,” which is Kendrick’s biggest single, to-date. Now, he has even more going for himself.
Kendrick Lamar went on tour to support the DAMN. album. Much like the album, Kendrick Lamar has also seen a ton of success with the tour. Thus far, twenty shows in, Kendrick Lamar has grossed $24 million in ticket sales.
