#StandWithJemele: Fans, celebrities, and athletes show their support to Jemele Hill after ESPN suspends her for her comments about the president

The first amendment, the first amendment, the first amendment, also known as Freedom of Speech! For all of this talk about the Second Amendment, what about the first one? It seems as if it is perfectly fine to kill, as long as a minority dies, but it’s wrong to call BS.

Granted, the opposition could have done a better job at preventing this, but didn’t, but people don’t forfeit the right to speak out, due to that. But, in the case of Jemele Hill, her livelihood is now at stake. When she called the president out, ESPN threatened to suspend her.

This afternoon, the suspension became a reality, but Jemele Hill has supporters. Immediately, Angela Rye came forth to help create the #StandWithJemele hashtag. Fans, celebrities, and athletes are using this to show Jemele Hill their support.
