Safe to say, Cassie is a one hit wonder, despite her ability to remain in the spotlight. By 2006, Rihanna had already taken over the game, but it looked like Cassie would give her a serious run for her money. She had her “Me & U” single that dominate summer 2006.
Cassie established herself as an artist, but her relationship with her label boss, Diddy, complicated her music career. Though she had plans of dropping an album in 2008, it never came. In 2013, Cassie dropped her RockaByeBaby mixtape.
Recently, Cassie stopped by Power 106, speaking with J Cruz and his crew on “The Cruz Show.” Returning with her new single, “Love a Loser,” featuring G-Eazy, the song has a lot of potential. She spoke with them about the single, her new music, and her self-titled short film.
