A decade ago, O.J. Simpson ended up back in the headlines, for the first time in some time. All of this was due to Simpson breaking and entering and stealing property. The unfortunate thing was the property belonged to him and was initially stolen from his home.
However, due to O.J. Simpson breaking the law, he was sentenced to prison. Back in March, news broke that Simpson could be released in 2017, ten years after he was sentenced. On July 19, it was revealed that he would indeed be released from prison.
It was announced that he would be released on October 1. However, since Nevada doesn’t do weekend releases, he will have to remain in prison over the weekend. That places his official day of release on October 3, which is this upcoming Monday.
