For far too long, the North Carolina hip hop scene has been overlooked, but a change is coming. This year, during the Fleet DJs Conference, the homie, G Moniy, interviewed a few of NC’s top talents for Hip-HopVibe.com. Even still, there are more artists coming up.

Rawsole Records is out to cast a bigger spotlight on the North Carolina hip hop scene. At the State Fair, Rawsole Records is doing “A Hip Hop Power Hour” to put a light on these artists. They have a decent stable of artists who are performing.

The lineup for “A Hip Hop Power Hour” will be headlined by Nance, Rome Jeterr, Samson, Rise Rashid, and Freedom Infinite. This show will take place at the State Fair at the Waterfall Stage. “A Hip Hop Power Hour” begins on October 21 at 4 pm.
