Often, it’s said that “no matter what you do, some people just won’t like you.” Actually, it’s more like “because of what you do, some people just won’t like you.” In the case of Cardi B, she has exceeded the expectations of a lot of folks.
People came into 2017 fully expecting to be talking about DJ Khaled, as they did. When the summer hit, it was all about him, Kendrick Lamar, Future, French Montana, and Jay-Z. Nobody expected Cardi B to blow them all out of the water, with one song.
Azealia Banks actually was a fan of “Bodak Yellow,” evidenced by Cardi sharing the video of her dancing to the song. Now, Azealia Banks is out here calling her the “poor man’s Nicki Minaj.” The feud has since turned nasty, with Azealia Banks going on an Instagram rant, causing K. Michelle to interject in Cardi’s defense.
